Modern Library, a division of Random House published what its
editorial board considers the 100 best English-language novels of the
20th century. You can not only see the list on their website,

Many children's literature classics are out of copyright, and are
among the books available in full-text on the Internet. This site
offers links to some of the more popular and interesting titles
that are available in HTML format. Part of the Children's

Bartleby Library - Steven H. van Leeuwen's project (1992-1996) at
Columbia University published literary, historical, and reference
