The Bartleby Project


Bartleby Library - Steven H. van Leeuwen's project (1992-1996) at Columbia University published literary, historical, and reference works on the Internet. Works include Yeats, T. S. Eliot, Dickinson, Hardy, Keats, Melville, Whitman and Wollstonecraft.

The Academy of American Poets
The Academy of American Poets site includes a listening booth where you can hear poems read by their authors, a number of interesting historic and thematic exhibits, and a list of featured poets. One notable part of the site is their Harlem Renaissance page, which features brief biographies and poems by writers such as Sterling Brown, Langston Hughes, and Gwendolyn Brooks.

American Verse Project

CultureFinder Theater On and Off Broadway
